The CSR Guidelines of the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) are subscribed by the governments of the 34 OECD member states and an increasing number of adhering countries.They are developed in cooperation with the:

• International business organisations (BIAC/Business and Industry Advisory Committee)
• International trade unions (TUAC/Trade Union Advisory Committee)
• International NGOs (OECD Watch)

Therefore the OECD Guidelines can be seen as a multi-stakeholder initiative.
