Notifications

One of the two main tasks of the National Contact Point is to contribute to the resolution of issues that arise from the alleged non-observance of the Guidelines in specific instances.

The possibility to take issues (specific instances) in which the parties involved cannot find agreement on the application of the OECD Guidelines to the NCP is a unique aspect of the OECD Guidelines in comparison to other international frameworks on corporate social responsibility (CSR). The NCP will assist the parties involved to come to a mutually agreed solution of the issue in question. This can be done by setting up a dialogue or mediation by the NCP or via an external mediator.

In the navigation pane of this page you can find an overview of the notifications submitted to the Dutch NCP, the instruction how to submit a notification, the specific instance procedures of the Dutch NCP, the external mediator procedure and other relevant information.
