Responsible Business Conduct in the Financial Sector
Inaugural Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct: 26-27 June 2013, Paris, France
The launch of the Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct comes at a time of unprecedented international convergence and coherence on what constitutes responsible business conduct. From multilaterally agreed corporate responsibility instruments to national policies and specific codes of conduct, there is a widely shared recognition that responsibility has to be an integral part of any healthy business environment.
This inaugural meeting will bring together policy makers, businesses, trade unions, and civil society to address the core challenge of how to do well while doing no harm in an effort to contribute to sustainable development. Special attention will be given to challenges of the financial and extractive sectors, with two additional events planned on disclosure and reporting and the ICT sector.
Special working session on responsibility in the financial sector, organised in partnership with the Netherlands National Contact Point and ORSE Finance Club of France, will be held buy clomid without a prescriptionon 27 June. This will be a great opportunity to discuss the international framework of financial corporate responsibility instruments, the current practices and the extent of the financial institutions influence on client activities.
