The Follow-up to the Final Statement regarding the submission by BWI, IAMAW and GS Facket against Inter IKEA Holding B.V. was published on 10 December 2025. The NCP concludes that the agreement resulting from the dialogue between the parties has been largely implemented. In December 2024, the parties renewed the agreement and developed a joint work plan for 2025.
The NCP also notes the steps taken by the enterprise to further develop its policies and processes, including improvements in the integration of human rights, procedures for organisational change, and increased transparency in the value chain. The NCP has not been able to verify whether these measures are fully aligned with the 2023 OECD Guidelines.
At the same time, the NCP identifies areas where further progress is needed, particularly regarding meaningful stakeholder engagement, the respect for collective labour rights where local legislation falls short, and transparency on group structures and points of contact. The NCP thanks both parties for their cooperation during the Follow-up procedure.
