Annual Reports and Work Plans

The Dutch NCP reports annually on its activities. This is done in two ways:

  • an annual report on the preceding calendar year and
  • a work programme for the current year (since 2016)

Copies of the annual reports and the work programmes can be found below. The OECD annual reports on the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises / Update on National Contact Point Activity you can find at the OECD website.

OECD Peer Review of the Dutch NCP

In addition to the NCP itself reviewing its past year and drawing up new plans for the coming year, periodic peer reviews are also conducted by the OECD. In 2025, the NCP underwent its last Peer Review with the aim of evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the NCP and making recommendations for improvement. The recommendations from the Peer Review report will guide the further improvement of our working methods and shape our annual plans. The key recommendations from the 2025 Peer Review report were:

  • clarifying the responsibilities and confidentiality agreements of the advisory members of the NCP;
  • strengthening the contribution of NCP+ stakeholders to the promotion of the NCP and the dissemination of final statements;
  • improving the timely handling of notifications through clearer expectation management and established turnaround times;
  • improving coordination and coherence with other bodies promoting sustainability to prevent knowledge fragmentation and increase reach, particularly to large companies;
  • the continuation of the NCP's support for government policy.
